Bruce Lee’s
Jun Fan Gung Fu

Jun Fan Gung Fu is a martial arts system developed by Bruce Lee during his early years in the United States, drawing from his background in traditional Chinese martial arts, particularly Wing Chun. The term "Jun Fan" refers to Bruce Lee's Chinese name, and "Gung Fu" (or Kung Fu) broadly denotes Chinese martial arts.

This system emphasizes practical self-defense techniques, fluid movement, and adaptability, focusing on  kicking, boxing, trapping, and grappling. Practitioners learn foundational skills that incorporate both offensive and defensive maneuvers while encouraging the integration of personal expression and efficiency in combat. Jun Fan Gung Fu serves as the precursor to Jeet Kune Do, reflecting Lee's evolving martial philosophy and his desire to create a more effective and relevant combat system.
